Description
OffGrid Premium Faraday Bag with Protected USB Port.
The OffGrid Premium Faraday Bag with USB Port combines professional radio-frequency shielding with a controlled wired connection to the electronic device placed inside.
A standard Faraday bag normally needs to be opened before the device can be charged or connected to a forensic workstation. Opening the bag temporarily interrupts RF isolation and may allow the device to reconnect to cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or location-tracking networks.
The integrated protected USB-C port solves this problem. It allows compatible equipment to receive power or communicate through a controlled USB connection while remaining enclosed inside the Faraday bag.
Internal Dimensions of OffGrid Premium Faraday Bag.
- OffGrid Premium Tablet Sleeve - 25 × 35 cm
- OffGrid Premium Laptop Sleeve - 34 × 52 cm
Always compare the device dimensions with the internal usable area before ordering. Enough space must remain to close and fold the shielding sleeve correctly.
High-Performance RF Shielding with USB Access.
The OffGrid Premium Faraday Bag with USB Port combines wideband signal isolation with a protected wired connection for charging and controlled USB communication. Its layered shielding system uses conductive copper- and nickel-based materials to reduce both incoming and outgoing radio-frequency transmissions.
Typical shielding performance reaches:
- 103.6 dB between 10 MHz and 10 GHz
- 82.1 dB across the extended frequency range up to 40 GHz
The bag has been evaluated using IEEE 299-2006 testing methods. Its shielding construction is designed to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-188-125-2.
The integrated USB-C interface allows a compatible tablet or laptop to remain connected to power or an authorized workstation without opening the shielded enclosure.

Magnetic Single-Fold Closure.
The OffGrid closure combines a magnetic throat with a wide hook-and-loop fastening area. After inserting the device, the upper section of the sleeve is folded once and securely fastened.
The magnetic closure creates a continuous seal around the opening and helps reduce gaps through which radio-frequency signals could penetrate. This design makes the sleeve quick to close while maintaining reliable signal isolation.
For maximum shielding effectiveness, the closure must be folded evenly across its entire width without cables, straps, or other objects passing through the opening.
Secure Fold-Over Magnetic Closure.
The opening is secured using a magnetic throat and a wide hook-and-loop fastening strip. Once the device is positioned inside, the upper part of the bag is folded over and pressed firmly into place.
This closure method creates an overlapping shielded barrier around the opening and helps prevent RF leakage. It also allows the bag to be opened and resealed quickly during professional operations.
For reliable signal blocking, the entire closure must remain flat and evenly folded. Power and data cables should only be connected through the built-in USB-C port and must not be routed through the main opening.
Welded Seam and Protective Exterior Design.
The OffGrid Premium Faraday Bag with USB Port is manufactured without conventional stitched seams passing through the shielding layers. Instead, the internal conductive material is joined using puncture-free bonding and welding techniques.
This method helps maintain shielding continuity and reduces the risk of weak points developing along the edges of the bag.
The outer layer is made from durable TPU-backed nylon, providing protection against moisture, dust, abrasion, and frequent handling. A non-conductive internal lining separates the device from the shielding material and helps protect tablets, laptops, cables, and other electronic equipment from surface damage.
Protected USB-C Interface.
The bag includes USB-C connections on both the inside and outside.

Faraday Bags Professional Applications.
Digital Forensics and Evidence Preservation. The protected USB connection allows investigators to maintain device power or perform controlled USB data transfer while the tablet or laptop remains isolated from cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and RFID networks. This helps reduce the risk of remote wiping, cloud synchronization, incoming commands, or unauthorized access to digital evidence.
Law Enforcement and Border Control. Police, customs, and investigative teams can use the bag when collecting, transporting, storing, and examining seized electronic devices. The USB port is useful when a device must remain powered during transfer to a forensic laboratory.
Military and Government Operations. The bag provides portable RF isolation for laptops, tablets, communication equipment, and data-storage devices used in secure facilities, field operations, or restricted environments.
Cybersecurity and Incident Response. Security teams can isolate a potentially compromised device while keeping it connected to power or an authorized analysis system through the protected USB interface.
Corporate Data Protection. Organizations can use the bag to secure devices containing confidential information during investigations, transportation, technical inspections, or controlled storage.
Device Charging and Controlled Data Access. Power-Only mode can be used when the enclosed equipment needs charging without USB data communication. Data-and-Power mode supports authorized USB 2.0 communication while the device remains shielded from wireless networks.
Where to Buy OffGrid Premium Faraday Bags with USB Port.
OffGrid Premium Faraday Bags with USB Port are designed for professional users who require RF isolation without losing access to device charging or controlled wired communication.
The bags are available in Tablet and Laptop versions and can be used by digital forensic laboratories, law enforcement agencies, military and government organizations, cybersecurity teams, and corporate security departments.

Important Usage Information!
A Faraday bag only provides reliable signal isolation when it is completely and correctly closed. Devices should be inserted fully below the closure area before folding the sleeve.
Do not place wet devices, sharp unprotected objects, or damaged batteries inside the sleeve. Sharp edges and repeated excessive bending may damage the shielding layers and reduce performance.
For long-term reliability, inspect and test the sleeve regularly using cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS connections.
