The Mission Darkness BlockBox Lab XL offers advanced radio frequency (RF) shielding and hands-on access for forensic analysis of electronic devices. Designed to securely isolate mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and similar devices, it blocks all incoming and outgoing signals - including Wi-Fi (2.4 & 5GHz), Bluetooth, cellular (5G), GPS, RFID, and other wireless communications. With its extra-large interior, investigators can comfortably work inside the enclosure and transfer devices in and out of Faraday bags without signal exposure.

Built with a strong aluminum frame and RF-absorbent foam lining, the unit includes two LED light arrays, dual conductive gloves for device handling (including touchscreens), and a patented RF-FilterVu transparent viewing window. A built-in power strip provides four universal AC outlets and four USB ports. Additionally, a dual-sided filtered panel features two USB ports and one RJ45 Ethernet port, allowing fast data extraction and network connectivity without compromising RF shielding. The RJ45 port enables direct connection to local networks, computers, or forensic tools like GrayKey, Cellebrite, XRY, Oxygen, and more.

Tested to meet IEEE 299-2006 shielding standards, the BlockBox Lab XL helps prevent device lockout and allows continuous charging for longer brute-force unlocking sessions. Though designed for lab use, its lightweight build and side handles make it portable. The included accessory kit offers replacement gloves and seals, an acrylic organizer, and a set of Mission Darkness NeoLok Faraday bags with magnetic closure - ideal for use with conductive gloves.

Optional upgrades include an extra RJ45 port, external camera mounts for documentation, and fan/vent systems to prevent overheating. The BlockBox Lab XL is a complete mobile Faraday lab that supports secure, signal-proof device analysis in any environment.
