iStorage datAshur PRO² – is a state-of-the-art encrypted USB drive that protects your data both logically and physically. The drive is protected against Brute Force attacks and all of its electronic components are coated with a heavy-duty epoxy layer.

Compared to the previous datAshur Pro version, the new datAshur PRO² version has a separate inbuilt microprocessor that generates and stores the encryption key. This significantly increases the level of data security. The microprocessor itself is Common Criteria EAL 5+ certified. The second important factor when choosing a datAshur PRO² flash drive is the availability of a PIN code to self-destruct the encryption keys and therefore the data. This functionality allows you to set a PIN code, after entering which the data will be lost, and the drive will require a factory reset.

Access to data on the device is controlled via the inbuilt keypad, which allows you to set a unique PIN protection code from 7 to 15 digits. The keypad is wear-resistant and will not allow the frequency of key presses to be determined by their erasure. The keypad supports administrator PIN and user PIN. Creating two different administrator and user passwords, often helps to save data stored on the USB stick if the user forgets their PIN.

If an incorrect PIN is entered 10 times in a row, the drive realises this is an attack and destroys the encryption keys. The data stored on the drive will then be inaccessible and unrecoverable. The drive will then require a factory reset.

In response, it automatically destroys the encryption keys stored within its secure microprocessor, rendering all data on the drive permanently inaccessible.
• Tamper-Resistant Design. The datAshur PRO² is built with a tamper-resistant architecture to provide maximum physical security for sensitive data. All internal electronic components are completely encapsulated in a tough, ultra-strong epoxy resin. • Secure Microprocessor. The iStorage datAshur PRO2 is equipped with a secure microprocessor that is Common Criteria EAL5+ (Hardware Certified). This certification ensures enhanced security through true random number generation and built-in cryptography. The microprocessor offers ultimate protection against hackers by detecting and responding to tampering with features such as dedicated hardware for protection against SPA/DPA/SEMA, DEMA attacks, and advanced protection against physical attacks, including Active Shield, Enhance Protection Object, CStack checker, Slope Detector, and Parity Errors. Additionally, it includes environmental protection systems guarding against voltage, frequency, temperature, and light anomalies, as well as secure memory management and access protection.
