iStorage datAshur BT – encrypted flash drive with Bluetooth authentication.
The datAshur BT is a USB drive with multi-factor authentication that provides a high level of data security. The drive supports AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption and access to stored data via a mobile application installed on the user's smartphone. Communication between the smartphone and the drive is via Bluetooth.
The main advantage of the datAshur BT drive is the mobile app. To access the drive, the app authenticates the user in one of several ways: a standard PIN code (7 to 15 characters) or biometric unlocking using a fingerprint or Face ID. For more confidence, the user can enable additional authentication via SMS notification.
The mobile application simplifies the work with encrypted media. The user can easily restore or change the password, set lock modes, and reset the drive data. If the user loses the drive, he can remotely erase the encryption key as soon as the lost drive is available on the Internet.
The datAshur BT encrypted drive is protected against Brute Force attacks. After 10 consecutive incorrect password attempts, the drive is locked, and the encryption key is destroyed, rendering data inaccessible.
