The Feitian BioPass FIDO 2 Pro is a modern biometric security key designed for strong multi-factor authentication. It combines passwordless access with fingerprint recognition, offering a secure and user-friendly solution for both personal and enterprise use. These keys support industry standards such as FIDO2, U2F for web authentication, Windows Biometric Framework (WBF) for seamless OS login, as well as TOTP, HOTP, and PIV for one-time passwords and smart card functions.
Feitian offers two models in this series: the K49 with USB Type-C and the K50 with USB Type-A. Functionally, they are identical and differ only in the connector type, allowing compatibility with a wide range of devices, from modern laptops and smartphones to traditional desktop computers. The fingerprint sensor ensures that only registered users can authenticate, adding a strong layer of protection against phishing and unauthorized access.

- Windows Biometric Framework (WBF): Windows Biometric Framework is a built-in component of the Windows operating system that supports biometric authentication, such as fingerprint login. When a device like the Feitian BioPass FIDO 2 Pro is compatible with WBF, it can be used to securely sign in to Windows accounts using a fingerprint - without the need for additional software or drivers.
- OATH OTP (HOTP + TOTP + Static Password): Equipped with an OATH OTP plugin, this secure key allows for two-factor authentication using one-time passwords. Users can set up OTP authentication via the FEITIAN Authenticator app to generate secure one-time codes stored on the token, accessible only for viewing through the app.
- PIV Smartcard: This plugin supports two-factor authentication with certificates, commonly used for authentication in Microsoft Active Directory (AD) or for VPN access.
- OPEN PGP: Integrated into the token, the OPEN PGP plugin is widely used for email encryption and secure file storage. This open and flexible standard is supported by applications like GnuPG (GNU Privacy Guard), which is one of the most recognized tools in digital privacy.
