The diskAshur M2 is a highly secure, portable external SSD drive that combines modern design, ease of use, and outstanding data transfer speeds. It offers comprehensive protection at both logical and physical levels. Logically, the diskAshur M2 features robust safeguards against Brute Force attacks and threats like BadUSB.
Physically, its internal electronic components are encapsulated in a tough epoxy coating, providing additional security by preventing unauthorized access through physical tampering. Among iStorage's range of external drives, the diskAshur M2 stands out as the most advanced model, equipped with both USB-C and USB-A interfaces and offering bootable capabilities.
Notably, the microprocessor of diskAshur M2 is Common Criteria EAL 5+ certified, ensuring encryption keys remain isolated from user data. The device includes a dedicated self-destruct PIN feature and supports separate Administrator, User, and Recovery PINs, enabling multiple layers of secure access.
Access control is conveniently managed via the integrated keypad, which is wear-resistant to prevent patterns from becoming visible. PINs can range from 7 to 15 digits for maximum security.

- Brute-Force Protection. After ten consecutive incorrect PIN entries, the device identifies an attack and automatically deletes the encryption keys stored within its secure chip.
