DataLocker has unveiled DL GO - a hardware-encrypted USB flash drive built for simplicity and regulatory compliance. The new device uses AES-256 XTS hardware encryption and can unlock via the host machine’s biometrics - Windows Hello on PCs and Touch ID on Macs. For enhanced protection, multi-factor authentication (biometrics + PIN) is available.

DataLocker DL GO - Security and Compliance, Simplified.

Datalocker DL GO is designed for both individuals and small teams (via MySafeConsole) as well as large enterprises through centralized management, security policies, audit trails, and password recovery in SafeConsole. This approach streamlines fleet deployment and control without overburdening IT.

On the hardware side, the drive supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-A, with a USB-C adapter available) and delivers read speeds up to 160 MB/s and write speeds up to 120 MB/s (except for the 4 GB model). Capacities include 4, 16, and 64 GB. A metal housing is epoxy-filled, and dust/water resistance is rated at IP68. Warranty: 5 years.

Datalocker DL GO is certified to FIPS 197, aligns with GDPR, HIPAA, NIS2, and other frameworks, and is fully TAA-compliant: manufacturing is in Taiwan with a Taiwan-made crypto-controller to reduce supply chain risk. According to the company, DL GO brings “enterprise-grade” security without the enterprise-grade price tag.

A driverless setup and native SafeConsole integration make DL GO an easy choice for secure data transport and out-of-the-box compliance.
