DataLocker Launches the New DL450 FE Secure External Drive
DataLocker has launched the new DL450 FE secure external drive, designed for the safe storage, transport, and transfer of confidential data. The new device combines AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption, a rugged IP67-rated enclosure, a USB 3.2 Type-C interface, and advanced authentication features.
DataLocker DL450 FE is designed for corporate, government, defense, financial, and digital forensics users who require a high level of protection for portable data. The device is available in both HDD and SSD versions and can be used either as a standalone encrypted drive or as part of a centrally managed SafeConsole environment.
For standalone use, DL450 FE Standard provides strong hardware-based data protection without the need to deploy additional infrastructure. For corporate deployments, DL450 FE Managed enables administrators to apply security policies, maintain audit logs, manage devices, and perform remote actions through SafeConsole.
DL450 FE supports password authentication, biometric unlocking via Windows Hello and Touch ID, and smart card authentication, including CAC, PIV, and YubiKey PIV. This makes the drive suitable for organizations with strict access control and compliance requirements.
DataLocker DL450 FE is available from Dataway Security. Our team can help you choose the right configuration, whether you need a standalone secure external drive or a centrally managed solution with SafeConsole.
